Current Volunteer Opportunities
Food Pantry
Help us combat food insecurity by volunteering in our food pantry. Your support will involve preparing bags of fresh produce and grocery staples, sorting and organizing incoming shipments, and assisting with the distribution of food to those in need. Food pantry shifts are available on Monday and Wednesday mornings in the lower level of our main building. Make a direct impact on the lives of families in our community.
Tech Buddies with the Senior Center
Join our Tech Buddies program and help older adults bridge the digital divide. Volunteer at our Older Adult Center on Mondays and Tuesdays, where you will assist older adults in learning how to operate various devices such as tablets, computers, smartphones, and social media platforms. Share your tech expertise and empower seniors to stay connected and engaged in the digital world.
Afterschool Program Aid
Make a positive impact on the lives of young students by volunteering in our Afterschool program. As an Afterschool volunteer, you will work alongside our dedicated staff, helping students with their homework, engaging in fun educational activities, and providing mentorship. Join us in shaping the future of our youth and fostering a love for learning.
Office Assistant
Volunteers will assist various MMCC departments with general office and administrative tasks, helping the families and workers with filling paperwork, answering the phone, and other office duties. Volunteers will also assist Child Development Center kitchen staff by helping to prepare and serve meals to the kids.
