High School Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Taught by experienced HSE Instructors, students will get hands-on learning experiences to prepare for the GED exam. Tutoring sessions are also offered.

Registration includes filling out required registration materials, an interview and/or orientation session, and completing a TABE test.

Adult Literacy Program / Pre-HSE
Our Adult Literacy and Basic Education department provides basic literacy skills in math and reading, as well as Pre-HSE and HSE courses for students who want to take the GED exam to obtain their high school equivalency diploma. English Language Learners may receive referrals for ESL classes.
Students scoring below a 9.0 on the Test of Adult Basic Education may be eligible for attending Adult Basic Education and Pre-HSE classes that will prepare them to be able to enter HSE classes and prepare for the GED test.
