Adults ages 17 and older with a high school diploma or GED can receive FREE training for entry-level positions in the high-demand HVACR industry. Learn how to install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Entry-level wages range from $22.47 to $28.13/hour, with experienced technicians earning up to $31.97/hour.
FREE Program Includes:
- Work readiness training and combination of in-person classroom instruction and self-paced online training.
- Curriculum designed by NCCER (National Center for Construction Education & Research)
40 Hour OSHA Certification - NCCER CORE: Introduction to Basic Construction Skills Course
- NCCER Level 1 HVACR Course
- MetroCards
- Job Placement Assistance & Referrals
- Graduation Ceremony

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be ages 17 and over
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be legally able to work in the US.
- Must be able to commit to FULL program attendance including all in-person classes
- Must participate in a selection process including: Interview,
Assessment Meeting,
and Orientation Session - Must have access to a laptop and internet for online course work
- Must pass all exams with a minimum score of 70
